Bachata · Lisbon, Portugal
Sharing practical bachata techniques you can actually use
Who we are
We are Robert & Kira, a bachata dance couple based in Lisbon, Portugal. Passionate about social dancing, teaching, and continuous growth, we combine technique, musicality, connection, and creativity to help dancers enjoy every moment on the dance floor.
We believe the best dancing comes from clear communication, trust, and genuine connection. Through our classes, workshops, and performances, we create a welcoming environment where dancers can build confidence, develop their own style, and truly enjoy the journey.
Robert is passionate about musicality, styling, and self-expression. He constantly explores different dance styles and incorporates their concepts into bachata, helping dancers become more versatile, creative, and authentic. As an active social dancer, he has earned awards at numerous social dance competitions, bringing both experience and fresh inspiration to his teaching.
Kira specializes in technique, movement principles, and the mechanics of leading and following. With extensive experience in both dancing and teaching, she has a unique ability to break down complex concepts into clear, practical ideas that students can immediately apply on the social dance floor. Her structured approach helps dancers build strong fundamentals, confidence, and lasting progress.
How we teach
What makes us different is our practical and student-focused approach. We don't teach choreography for the sake of choreography — we teach skills that make social dancing feel natural, comfortable, and enjoyable. Our goal is to help every dancer understand why a movement works, not just how to copy it.
We teach in English, Russian and Portuguese.
